Letter to Customers With Regards to
Federal & State Regulations
Our Beloved Customers,
We opened in May 2013 and since that time we've been devoted to providing a truly professional vape service to our loyal and amazing customers. It's been a rollercoaster and with upcoming regulations from Washington State and the FDA we find ourselves unable to offer all the same services you've come to expect. And sadly these egregious interferences will only increase over the next 2 years.
We will continue to fight for all of our vaping rights but we ask the public to please have some understanding. These new policies are not our choice, they have been forced upon us, and we simply have to comply.
The Fix Vapor Cafe
On April 19th 2016, Washington State Governor Inslee signed into law Senate Bill 6328. In part it reads,
"Entry into the licensed premises is restricted to persons eighteen years of age or older; (Sec 19.1c)".
The intent was to prevent "secondhand vape" from effecting underage individuals. Regardless of the science behind this, or our personal opinions, The Fix Vapor Cafe is happy to comply with this otherwise very reasonable and well-crafted legislation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some customers and respectfully ask our patrons to be understanding that this is Washington State law.
